UNCHARTED - MAIN ON END TITLES
I worked closely with ‘Zombieland’ and ‘Venom’ director Ruben Fleischer to design a one-shot sequence that weaves through key moments from the movie, connected by dynamic and unexpected transitions.
Using a blend of 2D elements and set 3D scans in a three-dimension environment enabled us to play with dynamic camera movement and depth. A major effort was put into creating a uniform look with vintage map textures, paint brushes and hand-painted layers.

Visual Exploration
Our pitch consisted of visual tricks (anamorphic reflection, shadow distortion etc.), a homage to the video game saga that often intricate puzzles, but also a metaphor for the cunning, deceptive characters that will use every ace up their sleeve to get their hands on the treasures. The look was grittier, sketchy, as if etched into Drake's tired travel journal.
