STRANGE ANGEL - MAIN TITLES PITCH

The TV show is based on the true story of Jack Parsons, on the one hand a pioneer of American rocket engineer, and on the other hand an exocentric man whose tendencies often veered to the mystical and occultism.

This pitch for the Main Titles sequence attempts to convey this duality while embracing the visual language of Pulp magazines of the era, which were always bold, using vibrant colors, esoteric symbolism and beautiful silhouettes. I added wear and crumpled textures to give it a sense of tactileness, as if these were magazine covers or pages Jack would inspire his ideas from.
